    • Takes direction from and interacts directly with the CMA Supply Chain Materials Manager (SCM)
    • Supporting and embedding a safety culture within both the MM team & project.
    • To deputise for the SCM as required
    • Work directly with CMA Const Teams, IO Logistic Service Provider (LSP), On-Site Logistics Contractor (OLC) and IO construction installation contractors.
    • Responsible for all construction related BOM’s, including CWP and IWP allocation have been reviewed during EWP & CWP approval process.
    • Responsible for ensuring that forecast material reservations are run in SPMat in a timely manner in line with the agreed construction schedule and IWP requirements.
    • Responsible for the coordination and processing of all IO Contractor Construction Reservation Material Requests (CRMR) in the materials management system SPMat.
    • Responsible for ensuring that handover of material between OLC and Contractor is completed in line with the agreed construction schedule, including sign off and acceptance of all Material Issue Reports (MIR).
    • In liaison with the CMA Site Coordination Manager, to ensure the coordination of delivery of DA-Contractor (turnkey) material for site coordination purposes.
    • Responsible for highlighting any construction material shortfall to CMA construction team CMA-CMT and IO focal points (TRO and CST).
    • Responsible for the materials management training of Contractors in SPMat.
    • To work with the Const. teams to monitor the storage and preservation of material while under the care and custody of IO construction contractors.
    • Responsible for the coordination and processing of all Contractor Construction Material Return Requests (CMRR) in SPMat, including the coordination of material collection and return between the Contractor and OLC.
    • Focus on delivery, value for money and value creation activities 

     

    • International construction experience within all aspects of materials control and management, in a large-scale project environment
    • Experience of a multi-national joint venture(s) and cognisance of different cultural requirements and behaviours
    • Experience in programme and project management including the establishment and maintenance of integrated schedules
    • Must have smart plant materials experience
    • Must have a high level of MS Software experience (Excel, Word & Power Point)
    • Experience in the transition & transformation of an organisation to work and achieve collaboratively
    • Must have an understanding of the full Supply Chain from Design through to Installation.
    • Must be able to read technical drawings & technical specifications
    • >10 years of major international Construction and Logistics experience
    • Fluent in English, with additional French preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with creative solution and problem- solving skills.

    • Smart Plant materials, 5 years’ experience - desirable
    • Degree qualified - desirable
    • Experience of mentoring local staff to take senior Materials management positions - desirable
    • Bachelor degree in a related discipline - desirable
    • PMP qualification or equivalent – desirable
    • 5 years’ experience in the nuclear industry - desirable
